Usb ports on monitors not working

The monitor display itself does work properly, but I have no power to any of the monitor's USB ports. I've unplugged the monitor's USB cable from the monitor and the computer and plugged them back in, and I still get nothing. I know it's not the computer's USB port because other USB devices work fine when plugged into the same port.
